Her choice: EltaMD Dermstore UV Glow Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF36
Type of skin:Combination
Sunscreens are a great way to get the sun rays off.Suncare is something I believe in. I use sunscreen as my last step before applying my makeup. My skin care routine has many steps so I need to be capable of applying sunscreen over my products without any white cast or pilling.
The verdict:Because the consistency and texture of the EltaMD formula is very similar to my daily foundation, I found it appealing. I prefer to apply foundation with my fingertips rather than a brush, so the EltaMD option provided me with a similar result. The result left me with a moisturized, dewy glow. It is an excellent replacement for foundation. The coverage is quite light so I added a bit more to my problem areas because I have some blemishes, scars and acne.

Sunscreens are a great way to get the sun rays off.I prefer multi-purpose and tinted formulas. I can leave the house with just one makeup product, but it gives me enough coverage to cover my entire face.
The verdict:This SPF is my obsession! It applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling moisturized. It blends well and gives just the right amount coverage. It’s not too thick, but it covers redness and blemishes well. It made my skin look almost glowing and refreshed.

Sunscreens are a great way to get the sun rays off.Because I don’t want my face to look ghostly, I have always applied sunscreen only to my body. My go-to spray bottle is all that I use to apply sunscreen to my face.
The verdict:This product was my favorite out of all the products I tried. Although it was difficult to blend initially, the product applied very well to my skin. It felt wonderful on my skin, and it didn’t feel too thick or chalky. This product is great for summer, when you have a tan.

Her choice: MDSolarSciences Mineral Tinted Creme SPF30
Type of skin:I have combination skin. I have oily skin in certain areas, and dry skin in other places.
Sunscreens are a great way to get the sun rays off.Tinted sunscreens are my favorite because they hide any redness or unevenness in my skin. I have used sunscreens that were too oily and caused me to break out, or formulas that were too thick that it was difficult to apply makeup.
The verdict:This product is amazing! It is lightweight and silky smooth. My skin felt hydrated and soft. It was more of a foundation/primer for makeup than a sunscreen. It is light, but I liked that it could be used in place of foundation. This gave me a natural glow that evened out my skin tone, as I haven’t used much makeup in recent months. It has a matte finish that makes it blend over visible pores and reduces shine.
